Grill584

Project Summary

The owners of Grill584 were dealing with the pressure of a newly opened restaurant and all the changes that come along with it, when they contracted us to build their website. We moved in stages to accommodate their needs. The first stage was designing a Splash Page as a place holder and to capture email addresses. We then transferred into a full site project to include menu and private party information. The visual asethetic of the site was very important for the client and they wanted the design centered around pictures of the actual restaurant, so we provided photography services in order to capture the look and feel of the Grill584 environment.

What We Did

  • Consultation and Project Planning
  • Splash Page Design and Development
  • Full Site Design and Development
  • Photography Services

HTML Source Code

Code Philosophy

HTML is always changing. HTML5 is coming soon to most major browsers. We're already there. We make sure our code is properly indented, legible, and easy to browse. We utilize naming conventions that make sense. We don't throw things together; we write our code so that anyone can read it and understand it.

What We Do

  • Intuitive Naming Conventions
  • Best Practice Code Formatting
  • CSS and Javascript Inclusions

CSS Source Code

Code Philosophy

We love CSS. So much of web design can be and should be done with CSS. And if you're smart enough to be using a better browser you have the advantages of CSS3. We know not everyone uses the good browsers so we make sure that all of our code is compatible with all major browsers and even take the time to write additional stylesheets to help those browsers that aren't up to snuff.

What We Do

  • CSS3 Styles
  • Clearly Defined Styles
  • Alternate Stylesheets
  • Tag Specificity

Friends of the Library

Project Summary

The Friends of the Alamance County Libraries were ready to begin their journey into an individualized web presence, instead of relying solely on their page on the County Libraries website. Now, the Friends have a distinctive website of their own; and are reaching out to the local community via their newly developed Facebook page.

PHP Source Code

Code Philosophy

We strive to make sure our code uses all standard methods and follows best practices. We implement object-oriented coding with proper Model-View-Controller (MVC) structure. We think that even if you don't know how to code, you should at least be able to read our code. We don't obfuscate our function names and we always, always clean our variables.
